Uplift Fair Trade supports Hubli - A hospital that rehabilitates patients who have been affected by leprosy, polio and disabling injuries. In spite of their disabilities, these artisans produce beautiful products of screen and block printing and carved wooden articles while earning a fair wage. Some of the Artisans in this project have deformities in their hands, have trouble walking or even one man is completely blind. When you buy a product from Hubli you are supporting people who otherwise might not get work, giving them an income and dignity.
