Dear Uplift Community,
I hope this message finds you well. Today, we're reaching out with a mix of emotions as we share some significant news regarding Uplift Fair Trade's journey.
After 12 wonderful years in Emu Plains, we find ourselves in the midst of change as we prepare to move our storage space. Unfortunately, the Baptist Union, owners of the building we have called home, have decided to sell the property to "optimize their asset." While this marks the end of an era for us, we want to express our deep gratitude to the Emu Plains Baptist Church for their unwavering support over the years.
In particular, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Colin and Carolyn Cowling. Carolyn, affectionately known as our Fair Trade fairy, has been instrumental in maintaining and organizing our storage space. The Cowlings have not only supported us practically but have also embodied their faith, showcasing love in ways that have touched us more profoundly than any sermon or church service could.
Now, the question on everyone's mind: where are we going? For the time being, we will be relocating all our stock to a garage in Glenmore Park. This will serve as our operational hub during the week, facilitating order processing and connections with our valued wholesale customers. Additionally, we'll be working towards organising events, continuing our POP up shops in various places and maintain our presence in the community.
However, this new space is considerably smaller, prompting us to announce a massive clearance sale to make room for our upcoming transition. We'll be offering incredible deals on our fair trade products, including gifts and clothing.
Details for the Massive Clearance Sale:
Location: Unit 15 Eco Blue Business Park, 84-90 Old Bathurst Road, Emu Heights.
Dates and Times:
Friday and Saturday, January 12th and 13th, 9 am - 5 pm
Friday and Saturday, January 19th and 20th, 9 am - 5 pm
Your support has been the cornerstone of our success, and as we embark on this new chapter, we kindly ask for your continued support. Please consider joining us for our clearance sale or spreading the word to friends, family, and colleagues who share our passion for Fair Trade.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Uplift community. We look forward to creating new memories and opportunities in our next chapter.
Warm regards,
Anna
