International Nepal Fellowship
UPLIFT supports the International Nepal Fellowship (INF) Leprosy and Spinal Injury rehabilitation hospital, in Pokhara, Nepal. INF does wonderful work with patients recovering from the ongoing effects of leprosy. The rehabilitation staff also work with patients dealing with the physical and psychological trauma encountered with the loss of limbs and reduced movement caused by leprosy and spinal injury. INF works holistically with its patients to prepare them for re-integration back into the community and facilitates small business and employment opportunities that are suitable for patients with reduced motor skills.
