These Beanies are lovingly made by Artisans in Nepal who spin and dye raw wool from New Zealand using azo-free dyes. They hand-knit the Beanies using bright and varied colours, making these beanies totally unique. The whole process is sustainable and eco-friendly as Uplift Fair Trade have chosen to source this product that uses the leftover pieces of wool that would otherwise be thrown out.  

Kumbeshwar Technical School is a World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) guaranteed member. This project trains, employs and empowers over 2000 women through their income-generating projects.  They also empower and sustain disadvantaged and low income families of Kathmandu Valley, through free primary education, a home for young people and vocational skill training in knitting, carpet weaving and carpentry.

Washing instructions:  Hand Wash in Cold Water.  Do not soak.  Do not bleach.  Reshape while damp.  Dry flat.
