This floral embroidered crossbody purse is a larger version of our popular zip purse, with the addition of a shoulder strap and extra storage. Handmade from strong woven cotton and finished with colourful floral embroidery, it’s a practical small bag for everyday use, markets, sightseeing or travel.

The bag has three secure zippered compartments — one main compartment plus a zip pocket on each side. This makes it easy to separate your phone, wallet, keys, cards and other small essentials while keeping everything safely zipped away. The 73 cm shoulder strap allows the bag to be carried comfortably over the shoulder.

Inside, the compartments are finished with beautiful silk sari fabric lining, adding colour and character to every piece. As these bags are handmade and use different fabrics, colours and embroidery may vary slightly from bag to bag.

Each purse is handmade in Nepal by the skilled women of Empowering Local Women, a women-led, Fair Trade Federation certified organisation. Their high-quality sewing, weaving and embroidery provide meaningful employment and sustainable incomes while supporting women's empowerment and helping address poverty and social justice issues at a grassroots level.
